@Benetti
Hey Benetti,
Congratulations for being the first player of Chess Elite Community to achieve an Elo rating of 2100. We are delighted to have skillful players like you in our community and we really appreciate your interest in Chess Elite.
The Chess Elite Contest allows you to claim only one prize so that more players get an opportunity to win. If not for that, you would have won all the prizes!
Since you have chosen to forgo this prize (iPod Shuffle 2GB), you are eligible to compete for one of the higher value prizes.
All the best!
Hi everyone!
Hot on Benetti’s trail… reached 2100 on the last day of the competition. If that means I must claim my prize then I do!!! If the competition will continue to run than I shall aim higher too
Ciao tutti
has the contest already finished?! it seems impossible to complete enough games in the time to win the prizes?
please let me know as i’d love to try for one of the higher value prizes if so?
abbraci, Benetti

@Benetti
Hello there! Since no one has managed to achieve an Elo Rating of 2500 yet, the contest has been extended till 30 June 2010.
GREAT!!!!
Hi Yellowidol
Why are you not continuing our close ongoing game? Your last move was 8 mars. Do you have an older version of chess elite? Then this close game will end without any change in rating. I played against cedlerustre and he stopped playing when he was mate in 2 moves. He had an old version and the game was just gone without any change in rating. I think this is very bad behaviour
Hello all I have played this game vs. Benetti. But there is one rigged move.
I have no idea this can be done, since when is it possible to do so?
Please help me.

In Move 25 he put me on check, i protect the king in move 26 with moving the pawn from F7 to F5. THEN!!! the amazing magical moves come in nr 27. He moves his pawn from E5 to F6 and kills my pawn which is place on F5 lol, which is just impossible!
Hi Zeusuez
This is a valid “En Passant” move made by Benetti
You can read more about Enpassant moves here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/En_passant
We will be happy to help you if you have queries on your other games!
Keep playing!
Cheers!!!
Man this Benetti is playing such a good game!
Congrats, I never manage to win against him, and i am not the first lol
hi Zeusuez,
I haven’t seen the wikipedia yet but I think the en passant rule harks back to the old times when the pawns could only move one square at a time, before you could move them 2 squares as an opening move
thanks again for a good game
Benetti
@ZEUSUEZ
Hey Zeusuez,
Check out the Chess Elite thread on Touch Arcade: http://bit.ly/aO78ub
You can interact with a lot of Chess Elite players there. (Including Benetti!)

@99Games
Hi 99games!
I have a problem and hope you can help. A game with Periquin started Sun Mar 21 at 0757 indicates that it is me to play (showing under “Your turn” section. If I touch to open the game it states at top “Periquin’s turn” and shows only my first move but if I select “Analyze” although it shows on the board that only white has moved, Periquin’s reply is given in the “Move List”!! I am unable to make a move but am told it is my turn. Can you fix this bug please?
Thanks

99Games
hello 99Games!
I have just reached 2300 rating
and have since won about 8 games but the rating changes for my opponent (-1 or -2) but I don’t get any change in rating - this seems strange for an ELO system
I was wondering if there’s some kind of cap on rating improvement when you reach 2300? if so, I’d like to claim the prize now - but if not, I’d like to continue for a bigger prize!
can you let me know please? thanks again
regards, Benetti
